Center for Information Sciences and Databases (CISD)
The Center for Information Sciences and Databases (CISD) is part of the Department of Biosystems Science and Engineering (D-BSSE) at the ETH Zurich and participates in the Swiss national Systems Biology initiative Its mission is to establish and ensure simple, reliable access to data
of high quality and consistency with sufficient context to enable and support knowledge generation in Systems Biology. As a focused group of interdisciplinary experts, CISD is to provide an effective scientific service bridging the gap between applied biology and information technologies enabling cross-disciplinary research.

Established more than 10 years ago in the Black Forest area in Germany JSI medical systems expanded to the United States of America in 2008. Safe and fast analysis of all incoming sequencing data, including a patient related report, is guaranteed. Sequencing data of all established sequencing systems (Applied Biosystems™, Beckman Coulter, Megabase, Roche, Illumina® etc.) can be analyzed.


The Praunheimer Werkstätten gGmbH (pw°),
runs several rehabilitaton facilites for mentally handicapped adults from Frankfurt am Main and its eastward-lying Main-Taunus region. Our goal is to integrate people with mental handicaps into society. Care and sheltered living, vocational training and occupational programs are meant to help the disadvantaged to lead a normal life as much as possible. pw° provides occupational programs for about 750 people in workshops located in the suburbs of Praunheim, Fechenheim and Höchst, as well as care in adjacent vocational rehabilitation facilities. Within our five facilities we can house 150 clients as well as organize the care for 90 outpatient clients all over Frankfurt am Main. Our three government-subsidized workshops in Frankfurt am Main form an effective alliance that offers a broad range of products and services. We are always striving to expand our line of products and services.
